A unique excursion to the Marsa Mubarak Reserve in Abu Dabbab Bay, near the new resort town of Marsa Alam, where you can see and swim with large green turtles, the probability of meeting them is close to 100%, since this is one of the places in the Red Sea where these amazing mammals live.

The diversity of marine flora and fauna of this bay also quite often attracts other rare mammals to bask in the shallow waters – the Dugong, or the common
name Sea Cow. The probability of meeting these animals is lower than with turtles, but it is also very high and many tourists manage to swim next to THEM at arm’s length.

And dolphins often swim to these places. The water and reefs in this lagoon will not leave anyone indifferent, and a meeting with marine animals will forever brighten up the memories of the trip.

What is included in the excursion program:

Transfer from the hotel at about 08:00 (we will inform you of the exact time after booking; the road to the port is from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the location of the hotel);
The yacht departs towards Marsa Mubarak Bay, at about 08:30-09:00;
One or two (at the discretion of the guide on site and depending on the weather) stops for snorkeling, lasting about one hour each;
Lunch on the yacht (buffet) + soft drinks throughout the day (tea, coffee, carbonated drinks);
Return to Port Ghalib and transfer back to the hotel at about 16:00.

Important! It is advisable to book the program at least 2 days in advance, as places are limited during the season and there may be cancellations at the last minute;
Due to the requirements of the national park, it is required to send a photo of your passport when
booking the program;
It is possible to organize diving for an additional fee (a 50% advance payment is required, non-refundable if you cancel the program), cost: +$30 for one dive, +$40 for two dives – the price is valid when booking from the website in advance. If you have a certificate, the price of the excursion with dives will be $130;
It is possible to organize this excursion from Hurghada, the surcharge for the transfer will be +$80 (advance payment of $50 is required) in both directions for a car for up to 4 people. Departure is approximately at
06:00, return around 19:00, the road is about 2.5 hours one way;
A Russian-speaking guide may not be available, since few Russian-speaking tourists attend the program. Marsa Alam is generally not popular among them, and the organizer of this program is the only one;
The capacity of the yachts is from 20 to 40 people, the yachts are spacious, there is enough space for everyone, there is a limitation
of capacity by the tourist police.

Yes, absolutely safe. You are accompanied by instructors, the dolphins are not aggressive and are used to people. Swimming takes place in the open sea, but under the supervision of professionals.

Do you need to know how to swim?

It is desirable, but not obligatory. You will be given a life jacket and a mask with a snorkel. You will also have accompanying people who will help and insure you if necessary.

What happens if I don't see dolphins?

The probability of meeting dolphins is about 90%. Nature is unpredictable, but even if the dolphins do not appear, you will have an amazing day: snorkeling on beautiful reefs, lunch, sea and sun.

Is it possible to travel with children?

Yes! The program is suitable for families. Children under 5 are free. The yacht has shade, drinks, food and the opportunity to relax.
